Making Headway is a foundation that provides funding and research for children with brain and spinal cord tumors.
The foundation had an existing website but it was outdated and cumbersome to update. They wanted to revamp and modernize their digital presence.
As the sole designer on the project, I worked closely with the client and played a part in the entire design process—including wireframing the layout, fine-tuning design elements, and web development.
I surveyed the client’s existing content and experiences in order to evaluate what was (and wasn’t) working for them as well as what their needs were. I used this to create the structure of the website and create a simple design they can update on their own.
